Bier Barrel Race Saturday October 6, 2012 from 2-4pm
Got your game on? We're gearing up for the second annual Bier Barrel Race at the 48th Annual Oktoberfest at Loves Park city Hall. The Beir Barrel Race is a fun and entertaining way for teams to compete, earn bragging rights of being the winner and enjoy Oktoberfest all at once! Teams of 6 compete to earn money for the charity of their choice. The innaugural winning team was Tad's on the Rock Bar and Grill who were able to raise $150 for Walter Lawson's Children's Home. The game is easy, two from each team must roll an empty barrel (keg) down and back and hand off to the next two of their team members. Those with the quickest time from all three legs of the race are the winners. Don’t laugh! It’s a lot harder than it sounds….
These were the teams that rolled last year! So what are you waiting for? Registration is open NOW! Mail in or email your application now to join in on the fun. Email to firstname.lastname@example.org. Get your team ready to roll!
